Carolyn Jean NicholsonCarolyn Jean Nicholson nee Little, age 91, passed away peacefully on November 26, 2024.?Recent resident of Dyer, IN, formerly of Beecher City, IL. Jean graduated from Beecher City High School in 1951. Graduated from Eastern Illinois University in 1955 with a degree in Teaching. Received her Masters Degree from Eastern Illinois University in 1970. A Teacher for over 35 years, she began her career in Decatur, IL. She taught fourth grade at Columbian School, Lowell School, and Washington School in Mattoon, IL until her retirement 1991. Jean continued substitute teaching for many years after retiring.?Mother of Sandy (Joseph) Christofanelli and the late Cindy (late Raymond) Rivnyak. Grandmother of Jennifer (Austin) Cangelosi, Kristin (Noah), Lyndsay (Dave) LeComte, Joey Christofanelli, Jonathan Rivnyak and Leah Christofanelli.
