LOVINGTON - Mary Lou Woodard, 88, of Lovington passed away at 10:03 a.m. Saturday (Sept. 28, 2024) at home, surrounded by her loved ones.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, at McMullin-Young Funeral Home, Lovington. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home in Lovington. Burial will be in Keller Cemetery, Lovington.Memorials may be made to the Lovington Volunteer Ambulance and Fire Department or the American Cancer Society.Mary Lou was born on June 11, 1936, in Assumption, the daughter of Raymond and Bessie (Jordan) Galvin. She married Verlyn C. Woodard on Oct. 13, 1956; he survives. She was a member of the Lovington Church of God.She is survived by her husband, Verlyn of Lovington; sons, Dennis (Leann) Woodard of Decatur and John (Deanna) Woodard of Tuscola; and daughter, Becky (Thomas) Blackton of Troy, Ohio.
