Donald R. Swallow April 18, 1931 - August 3, 2024 DECATUR - Donald R. Swallow, 93, of Decatur, passed away on August 3, 2024 at Hickory Point Christian Village, Forsyth. Graveside services will be Monday, August 12, 2024, 11:00 AM at Greenhill Cemetery, Sullivan with Pastor Michael Karunas officiating. Military rites will be conducted by the Sullivan American Legion Post #68. Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Central Christian Church, Decatur. Donald Swallow was born April 18, 1931, in Walters, Oklahoma, the son of John and Ethel Robbins Swallow. Don graduated from Lovington High School and was a US Navy Veteran of the Korean War, serving aboard the USS Kidd (DD 661) as a Quartermaster Signalman, 2nd Class.
