Donald "Donnie" Gene Russell, 69, of Sullivan, formerly of Decatur passed away 4:50 AM Tuesday June 25, 2024 at Eastview Terrace Nursing Facility in Sullivan after a short battle with Cancer. Cremation will be at a later date.Donnie was born February 27, 1955 in Decatur, IL to Robert G. (Bob) Russell and Audrey M. (Carter) Bolsen. Donnie was an avid Beatles fan, loved his guitars, taking photos, working on his ancestry, and his German Shepard dogs, his most recent Jasmine. Donnie retired from Masterbrand Cabinets. Surviving Donnie are his wife Deborah of Sullivan, children Michelle (Shannon) Stine of Decatur, Stephanie Sharp (Steve Moore) of Decatur, Michael Farley of Springfield, Stacie (Charles Cox Jr) of Oreana, Lindsey Russell (Jordan Spellman) of Decatur.
